Kyiv, 24 August 2026. During the unmanned systems parade for Ukraine's Independence Day, UFORCE unveiled a new surface drone model — the MV11 — large enough to withstand ocean conditions. The parade, held on the Dnipro River as part of the country's 35th anniversary celebrations, was the first time Ukraine marked Independence Day with a dedicated showcase of unmanned systems, and it featured the entire current product line of the legendary MAGURA family — a platform that has already helped destroy at least 12 Russian ships and push back Russia's Black Sea Fleet.
The MV11 was developed by UFORCE's design and R&D bureau in Portugal with international investment as a new addition to the MAGURA family of drones. Building on the Atlantic Ocean experience of its Portuguese-built predecessor, the MV7, it was engineered specifically for harsh maritime conditions — setting it apart from comparable European platforms across nearly every parameter. Its key feature will be the ability to launch a greater number of carriers directly from onboard, turning the platform into a mobile maritime base for other unmanned systems.
The MV11 is the largest drone in its class — and the largest autonomous unmanned surface vessel (USV) in Europe to date. Unlike previous models in the family, it is a transport platform capable of carrying other unmanned systems and mission equipment. It is ocean-going, built to operate far out at sea rather than in coastal waters. With an overall length of up to 12 meters, a width of 3.5 meters, a payload of up to 2,200 kg, and endurance of up to 7 days, it operates as a carrier platform: delivering, launching, and supporting other drones far from shore across distances of over 2,000 nautical miles. Its 10 cubic meters of free payload space give it exceptional flexibility for integration. The MV11 is designed for reconnaissance, surveillance, support of amphibious operations, and the resupply of fuel and equipment for other naval drones (USVs) — all of this around the clock and in any weather.

The MV11 works with a wide range of weapon systems — its most combat-effective configuration being a fully autonomous short- and medium-range air-defense variant with several dozen aerial interceptors, a gyro-stabilized 12.7 mm turret, and a full sensor suite for radar surveillance and target tracking, making it one of the most effective means of protecting coastal zones and straits from modern aerial and drone threats. Building on the proven MAGURA family, the MV11 is a modular, multi-domain platform positioned to become the flagship of Ukraine's hybrid drone fleet and a cornerstone of the Unmanned System Forces.
