London, UK (March 5, 2026) — UFORCE, a defense technology company based in the United Kingdom (UK), today announced the close of an initial funding round led by Shield Capital and Lakestar with participation from Ballistic Ventures and other leading American and European defense investors. Drawing upon experienced teams spanning from Kyiv to London to Silicon Valley, UFORCE has unified the best of Ukrainian defense tech innovation and combat-proven autonomous systems into one company that enables allied militaries worldwide to rapidly adopt and operationalize cutting-edge aerial, maritime and ground unmanned systems.

Since Russia’s full-scale invasion of the country in 2022, Ukraine has become the most demanding, real-world proving ground for modern warfare. UFORCE was created to ensure that the proven technologies and systems are not lost, but instead institutionalized and scaled as part of a burgeoning Ukrainian and Western industrial base.

UFORCE leverages what has been achieved in Ukraine, starting with nine-figure bookings in 2025 and growing close to 500%, with a highly distributed and secure supply chain, spanning more than 15 locations across 6 allied countries. A dedicated team of more than 1,000 professionals with firsthand experience in manufacturing systems, developing and updating software, and testing and validating products within hours to meet the urgent timelines required in a continuous conflict.

UFORCE created a portfolio of Ukrainian capabilities made up of fully combat-proven autonomous warfare ecosystems across sea, air, and land. At sea, Magura uncrewed surface vessels have sunk over a dozen Russian warships and became the first USVs in history to down manned helicopters and fighter jets, redefining maritime warfare. In the air domain, Nemesis medium and heavy strike multirotor platforms rank among the most widely deployed and effective bomber UAVs on the battlefield. These are complemented by UGVs, unmanned logistics vehicles, remote weapon systems, laser counter-UAS capabilities, and advanced multi-domain and multi-UxV C2 software, forming a battle-tested, integrated autonomous stack refined under real-world combat conditions. These high-precision unmanned systems have carried out hundreds of thousands of verified combat missions at ranges from tens to over a thousand kilometers during the defense against Russian aggression.

The UFORCE team includes: Oleg Rogynskyy, who founded People.ai, the first Ukrainian-origin Silicon Valley unicorn with a $1.1 billion valuation; Oleksiy Honcharuk, who served as Prime Minister of Ukraine from 2019 to 2020 and has contributed to a number of critical defense projects.
