New MV7 model, adapted for the demanding conditions of the Atlantic Ocean, marks the start of a wider UK research, development, testing and evaluation programme.
LONDON and KYIV (August 5), 2026. UFORCE, the Ukraine-origin, UK-basedautonomous systems defense technology company, has launched its firstautonomous unmanned surface vessel (USV) developed in the UK. The model is thefirst to be developed by UFORCE in the UK and has been launched in Britishwaters off the UK's south coast.
The new MV7,the latest model in UFORCE's MAGURA family of autonomous drones, has beendesigned specifically for different temperatures and higher sea stateconditions in the Atlantic Ocean. This comes at a crucial moment given recentactivity from the Russian navy, including firing exercises off the UK coast.
UFORCE’s commitmentto the UK is in alignment with the recently released UK Defence Investment Plan(DIP). It marks the start of a wider UFORCE programme of R&D, testing &evaluation in the UK, refining proven battlefield technology for use by Westernallies - using a skilled British engineering workforce. The programme adaptsthat technology to new operational environments and regulatory requirements,and UFORCE will scale it to increase the maritime and aerial drone capabilitiesof the UK and wider northern Europe.

This announcement formspart of a wider international programme of rolling out UFORCE’s unmannedcapabilities across all global operational theatres. Earlier this month, UFORCEsigned a memorandum of understanding with RECONCRAFT, a leading US manufacturerof Special Operations combatant craft, intending to build highly capableautonomous surface vessels for the US Special Operations Command (SOCOM).
